- Oxford Girls Soccer lost to Lafayette 1-0 Saturday despite outshooting the Dores 28-6 in the game and dominated possession throughout the game. Oxford outshot West Point 32-0 (to which Oxford won 11-0) and Saltillo 25-4 (an Oxford win 6-0), making their combined last three games outshooting their opponents 85-10.
- Oxford Basketball's last Varsity home game in the old OHS Gym is tonight against Saltillo which is also Senior night. This will be the last time Oxford plays at home this season and the last time Oxford will play in their old Gym in any sport.
- Oxford's Cortez Jones got the team's second "Double-Double" (two positive stats that made it to double-figures) of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds against West Point Tuesday. Shelby McEwen had the first when he posted 18 points and 12 rebounds at Olive Branch (2nd Meeting).
- Against West Point, Oxford Boys led by 8 late in the 1st Quarter. Neither team had a lead bigger than 5 in the other three quarters but once in the second quarter.
- Oxford Girls were tied at 10 late in the first quarter against West Point before going on a 24-0 run. After halftime, Oxford never trailed by more than 25 points.
- Oxford Girls Basketball Head Coach Shayne Linzy with his next win will be his 100th win at Oxford and can do so tonight against Saltillo.
