#10 Cortez Jones
He is Oxford's biggest 3-point threat and is not afraid of taking the 3 or any open jumper (Jones took the most on the team). He is 3rd on the team in Rebounds (needs to be given his height), and led the team in steals. (I do not have exact numbers on those stats because this is based on many games of stats but not an entire season's worth) Jones and Shelby McEwen were 1-2 in points.
Speaking of "jumpers", he does do Boys Track as well in mainly the jumping events (High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, etc...) although since I went and saw just 5 events of a Track Meet last year, the events he actually did I do not know beyond that. He helped lead the Chargers to a 5A State Title in Boys Track last year.
Jones will need to be an even bigger leader than last year to find ways to get over New Hope (lost both regular season matches) and West Point (lost 2-5A Championship game to) in a very competitive 2-5A region. Let's not forget Callaway is still the team to beat in 5A Basketball. On top of that, Oxford has yet to win the 2-5A Tournament title and is 0-3 in those games. That is something Jones would love to accomplish this year. Jones will also try to help the Boys Track team out in defending its 5A State Title in his events.
There are a list of goals to accomplish. Improving his 3-ball (shot 31% last year) would be a good start given the number of shots he takes.
